Asia Pacific Youth Parliament for Water (APYPW) is an official gathering of 80 youth delegates representing different countries in the Asia Pacific region.
The APYPW is also a youth water education program, one of the important awareness raising works of Korea Water Forum (KWF).
Every year, Korea Water Forum and Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea come together to host the APYPW in order to bring diversity of young voices to
global water issues. The APYPW encourages them to deeply ponder and investigate pragmatic solutions for water-related challenges they are facing today.
Furthermore, it aims to develop young professionals in the field of water and to drive them to set positions as future water leaders by encouraging active youth participation
in global water and environmental activities. By offering variety of programs and activities from international conferences to simulating congressional actions, young
delegates from different countries will increase their awareness on both national and global water problems and strengthen their youth networks to address
the environmental crisis.
